AVII park bench
Avii is an innovative bench that offers several different sitting positions. The back of the bench can be used both as a backrest or a table, depending on the need. Avii can also rotate on its own axis, thereby offering a new view or the possibility to seek out light/shadow.
The bench is made from upcycled azobé wood from decommissioned Danish harbours.
The wood is heartwood from one of the hardest types of wood in the world, and thus incredibly durable. Therefor, Halo does not require any kind of wood treatment and has an expected lifespan of 30+ years.
Avii is made with a sanded surface. When placed outdoor and exposed to sunlight, the wood’s surface will change over time and become a silver grey colour. See examples of this here.
The bench is made with a frame in galvanized steel, but is also offered with corten steel or powder coating in RAL colours.
